Message from Director General Human Resource Department and Training Division

It gives me immense pleasure to launch the website of the Human Resource Department and Training Division of Bihar Police. I sincerely hope that this endeavour of the directorate will go a long way in capacity building and skill enhancement of police officers and police personnel of Bihar.
Training is the most vital component in the career of a police personnel, apart from equipping the individual for meeting the challenges ahead; it also provides a continuous input to adapt them to the ever changing needs of the profession. Training is perhaps, the most important opportunity for inculcation of positive attitude and instilling high moral values in an individual.
The aim of the Human Resource Department and Training Division is to train police officers and police personnel in terms of integrity, professionalism, physical fitness and mental alertness.
The aim is to prepare the police personnel to confront the new challenges head-on in the ever changing crime pattern, law & order scenario and social dynamics.
At present, Training Directorate includes the directorate at Patna, Constable Training School Nathnagar (Bhagalpur), Military Police Training Center Dumraon (Buxar) and Constable Training School Simultala (Jamui).
Eight regional training centers are in the porocess of being established for training of constable recruits at B.M.P. 02 Dehri (Rohtas), B.M.P. 03 Bodhgaya (Gaya), B.M.P. 04 Dumrao (Buxar), B.M.P. 07 Katihar, B.M.P. 09 Jamalpur (Munger), B.M.P. 11 Simultalla (Jamui), B.M.P. 12 Birpur (Supaul) and B.M.P. 13 Darbhanga.
The motto of the Human Resource Department and Training Division is well understood by the quotation:-
"The more you sweat in training, the less you bleed in combat."
I expect all my officers, trainers and personnel to give their best in training and shape up the future generation of police personnel of Bihar.
My best wishes to all the officers, personnel, trainers, and trainees.
